About me
Ms. Medley began her career in education in 2010. Before becoming a school counselor, she taught high school English for 13 years (10 years at Warren County High School and 3 years here at Smith County High School) and also served as an instructional coach. Since joining the Smith County High School counseling department in 2023, she has focused on providing comprehensive counseling services while helping students navigate academic planning, college and career readiness, and personal growth.
She earned her Master of Arts in School Counseling from Lipscomb University; she also holds a Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Instructional Coaching, Evaluation, and Assessment from Cumberland University and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education/English from Tennessee Technological University. Ms. Medley also has her Administrative License from Cumberland University.
Outside of school, Ms. Medley's greatest joy is spending time with her two sons. She also loves her four dogs, enjoys running and working out, and values every opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends
Ms. Medley is honored to serve the students and families of Smith County High School and looks forward to partnering with them to ensure every student has the support and resources needed to thrive both in high school and beyond.
